About Nashville songwriter JB Beckstead

  With a strong work ethic, endless enthusiasm and creative soul, J.B. is releasing his creative spirit and pouring all his energy into songwriting. When J.B. originally arrived in Nashville, he leveraged his degree in audio engineering into a 15 year career touring the world as monitor engineer and video technician with acts including Trick Pony, Gloriana, The Band Perry, Amos Lee, Brad Paisley and Garth Brooks. As a professional “roadie,” one of J.B.’s favorite parts of being direct support for performances on the road was inspiring confidence and creativity in others from side stage. He brings this same energy and productive flow to the songwriting creative process with artists, co-writers and collaborators. J.B.’s successful career as a monitor engineer also uniquely positions him to seamlessly connect the creative and technical which makes him like a Swiss Army knife in the writing room.
